留学生常说的due啥意思？
DUE 是“因为…有截止日期（到期之日）”的意思 举个栗子： The application is due on August 15th.这项申请在8月15日到期。 再举个栗子： Your assignment is due next Monday，记得下周一来交作业哦~ DUE 有动词和名词两种词性——作为动词时，意思为“由于…有截止期限”；作为名词时，意思是“到期的债务、应付利息或费用”。 作为动词，它可以这么用—— You are late with your payment，which is due tomorrow！你迟了交款项，明天就是最后期限啦～ 它还可以做介词，表示“因为有……的截止时间”。—— Today's class will be over at 4PM，but if you haven't finished by then，you'll need to come back the following day for a make-up session，due to time lost during the midterm break.今天的课4点结束，但如果你当时没完成的话，你需要在随后的补讲时间回来上课，因为期末考试间隙时间已经过去了。
